The idea of mobile phones was born in the late 1940s. The idea that a phone that was able to travel with you was revolutionary, but scientists considered it to be a viable idea. However, the FCC initially did not help and would not give enough radio frequency to carry out the project. When the FCC finally cooperated, AT & T led the way to looking for ways to make mobile phones a reality. But who invented the mobile phone?
A former Motorola employee, Dr. Martin Cooper, deals with the invention of the first portable phone. Dr. Cooper made the first mobile phone call in April 1973. His rival, Joel Engel, is the head of the Bell Labs research. Although Bell Laboratories developed the concept of mobile phones with technology originally used for communication between police cars, Dr. Cooper, who worked for Motorola, was the first person to use the technology on a portable phone that was operating in front of a car by Dr. Cooper, invented by the Motorola DynaTAC 8000X. Although technically it was a cell phone, it hardly resembled today's mobile phones. It measured nearly two pounds and was long. The first mobile phone was so expensive that cost nearly $ 4,000, and first the businesses and the army can access them. It lasted ten years before mobile phones began to fall into the public, and then the industry started. Thanks to Dr. Cooper's invention, other companies have begun to develop their own mobile prototype, and mobile phones went from 50 key car phones, two pounds to mobile phones, three ounce multipurpose devices. Although not originally made available to the public, the mobile phone became one of the most popular technical pieces in a very short time. Today there are more mobile phone lines than home lines.
Today, Dr. Martin Cooper is the CEO of ArrayComm, a wireless technology and systems company founded in 1992. Before the invention of Dr. Cooper, mobile phones were available and were not really portable as they could only be used in a car and operated only marginally. Mobile phones are indispensable today, and Dr. Martin Cooper gets it all as an inventor of a mobile phone. Thanks to the modern communication network we enjoy today.
