Too often the teams are not assembled. It just happens. A project comes and assigns a team to work. The group collects and tries to find a solution, but the problem starts almost simultaneously. Only a few people are working. Some people do not come together. The seats are common and the mind is numb. No one really is sure what a task it is.
I call Station teams properly assembled teams. Stage groups are based on what people and organizations know and align with WYSINWYG (what you see, never get), balance and simplicity. The constituents of assembly of the station group are size, citizenship and work. Each part is important to itself, but it also ensures the continuous and efficient teamwork. Their assembly optimizes successful opportunities.
For teams, the size does not matter. It is defined that at least two people take on a team – no upper limit. But studies have consistently shown that performance is directly related to team size. Based on more than forty years of research based on the demonstration, we know that the team size is optimized for five members. From this point there are between six to nine members of productivity planks. For more than nine members, there is a separate productivity loss. The conclusion is obvious – the troops remain small.
The team is primarily a social unit and, as such, requires liberal application of civilization for success. This leads to respect, courtesy and courtesy for others. The type of data and the sophistication of the decision greatly determine the assembly of the team. Simply put, different types of work require different types of groups.
Data collection and decision-making in the business of teamwork exist in a single sequel. At one end of this continuum is factual data collection and the other is subjective decision making. Keep in mind that this continuum means the type of work to be performed. The type of work determines the type of team to perform the task.
