We can only communicate with people in two ways: verbal and non-verbal. Most of our communication (about 85-87%) is through body language. We do not regularly have the luxury of firearms, laptops or other types of intermediate weapons inside the correctional facility. If so, trust me when I tell you that the others are very jealous! As an instructor I always ask the same question from my classes: "What is the difference between a correctional officer and a crime?" No Communication

Operational Communication
